AREA D6 – Austria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia

d62AREA D6
Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic,
Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia

PTU Area D6 includes the European territories of six sovereign states (Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia)
PTU Area D6 corresponds to the State of Frams and the Realm of Smarf in the Handorian States System Higher Earth and in the Rodnah Ierarkordo Lower Earth’s level of unary division respectively.

The Provisional Order Primary Jurisdiction for PTU Area D6 is represented by two entities: Austrie Asmake Providia, including Austria, and the Iurope Purve Prasupaja, including Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia and Slovakia.
Austrie Asmake Providia is operated by Austrie Neinve Prasamaya, or Oesterreicher Brudeerschaft, directed by the Adarniye Pradhan Reverenda Austrie Pradhipa Ordas, and supervised by the Alemanie Nepiete Sinfaile Pralodie Supreme Stajadhikara. It consists of one district and one society, i.e. Wiene (Vienna).
The Iurope Purve Prasupaja is operated by the Iurope Purve Masatnece Prasupaje Supreme Adhikara and directed by the Viri Eminerime Purviurope Pradhan Suverava, supervised by a joint system comprising corporate wardens from Wiene, Istambula, Berlina, Atina and Orione. Its secondary division does not relate with the district system and employs a highly non-uniform structure of categorisation, which for the simplifying purpose of this text has been articulated into 12 numerical Iurope Purve Secondary Jurisdictions.
Austria is composed of nine federal states, known in German as Länder (singular Land), divided into districts. Austria is part of the Provisional Order Primary Jurisdiction of Austrie Providia.
Croatia is divided into 20 counties (županija) and the capital city of Zagreb. The counties are primary territorial subdivisions of the Republic of Croatia. In Croatian they are called županije in plural and županija in singular form. There is a total of 21 counties, counting in the City of Zagreb which has status equall to that of a county. Croatia is part of the Provisional Order Primary Jurisdiction of Iurope Purve Prasupaja and corresponds to Iurope Purve Secondary Jurisdiction Four.
The Czech Republic is divided into thirteen regions (Czech: kraje, singular kraj) and the capital city of Prague. Each region has its own elected Regional Assembly (krajské zastupitelstvo) and hejtman (usually translated as hetman or “president”). In Prague, their powers are executed by the city council and the mayor. The older seventy-six districts (okresy, singular okres) including three “statutory cities” (without Prague, which had special status) lost most of their importance in 1999 in an administrative reform; they remain as territorial divisions and seats of various branches of state administration. The Czech Republic is part of the Provisional Order Primary Jurisdiction of Iurope Purve Prasupaja and corresponds to Iurope Purve Secondary Jurisdiction One.
Hungary is divided into 19 counties and a capital city (főváros), Budapest. Counties are further subdivided into 173 subregions (kistérségek), and Budapest is its own subregion. There are also 23 towns with county rights (singular megyei jogú város). The counties and City of Budapest have also been grouped into 7 regions for statistical and development purposes. These seven regions are considered as reference in PTU categorisation. Hungary is part of the Provisional Order Primary Jurisdiction of Iurope Purve Prasupaja and corresponds to Iurope Purve Secondary Jurisdiction Three.
Slovakia is subdivided into 8 krajov (singular – kraj, usually translated as “region”, but actual meaning is “county”), each of which is named after its principal city. Regions have enjoyed a certain degree of autonomy since 2002. Their self-governing bodies are referred to as Self-governing (or autonomous) Regions (sg. samosprávny kraj, pl. samosprávne kraje) or Upper-Tier Territorial Units (sg. vyšší územný celok, pl. vyššie územné celky, abbr. VÚC). Slovakia is part of the Provisional Order Primary Jurisdiction of Iurope Purve Prasupaja and corresponds to Iurope Purve Secondary Jurisdiction Two.
Slovenia is divided into 210 local municipalities, eleven of which have urban status. Slovenia is part of the Provisional Order Primary Jurisdiction of Iurope Purve Prasupaja and corresponds to Iurope Purve Secondary Jurisdiction Five.

Lower Austria is divided into four regions: Waldviertel, Mostviertel, Industrieviertel, and Weinviertel. The Wachau valley, situated between Melk and Krems in the Mostviertel region, is famous for its landscape, culture, and wine. Administratively, the state is divided into 21 districts (Bezirke), and four Statutarstädte. In total, there are 573 municipalities within Lower Austria.

Vienna is composed of 23 districts (Bezirke). Legally, they are not districts in the sense of administrative bodies with explicit powers (such as the districts in the other Austrian states), but mere subdivisions of the city administration. Elections at the district level give the representatives of the districts some political power in fields such as planning and traffic. The 23 districts are numbered for convenience, in a roughly clockwise fashion, starting in the city centre.
