April comes from the Latin “aperire” (to open), indicating the month when flowers are opening up. In the calendar of ancient Rome this was the month devoted to Venus, goddess of love. It follows that April is the ideal month for opening to love, fow allowing to spring and blossom.
April is about opening your heart. And since April starts with the first of April (April Fool’s Day), perhaps you can do so with playfulness, lightness and a bit of loving foolishness.
