Separation, judgment, hatred are hasty ways to avoid facing the complexity that underlies all conflicts and grievances
If we were willing to devote time and energy to heal conflicts and grievances with others, we would discover that each individual is a whole universe, which includes all possible, known and unknown parts. Every individual is a part of you, just as you are a part of them.
Conflicts with others are not conflicts with others, but conflicts within us. Seeing them outside can be helpful if we bring them back inside, because only from within they can be healed. Once brought back and settled in, then the unity, the love, the peace, the harmony, that we were not able to perceive before, is revealed.
This takes time and energy. The problem is that there is no time, we are in a hurry.
So we continue to separate, judging, condemning, hating.
Perhaps it would be more honest to tell people we separate from, judge, condemn, hate:
“I am aware that you are a part of me and I am a part of you, and that ultimately there is unity, love, peace, harmony, but I am in a hurry, so as to save time, please allow me to separate from you, judge, condemn and hate you.”
