A truly out-of-body experience (OBE) is not about getting out of the body, it is about getting out of the idea we have of our body, which is first of all the belief that the body is ours and that it is what we believe it to be.
It is about getting out of the illusory idea of one’s self meant as a separate third-dimensional mobile location, from the hallucination of conceiving it as a private property, from the mirage of the ownership of this body, together with all the limits and obligations derived from the relationship with similar bodies.
It is about getting out of the belief of being the body as you perceive it both for yourself and for those you believe to be others.
