From an astroshamanic perspective, the traditional birth chart represents the separated ego, founded on identification with a physical body and gender, linked to linear time and with a single inevitable end: death.
The work with astroshamanic healing consists in freeing ourselves from the addiction to this identity through the alignment with the collective planetary chart, the chart of the transits common to the whole planet and to every human being in a given time and space.
This chart is in constant transit: in the span of one day it covers all the signs of the Ascendant, during a lunar cycle it moves through all the signs of the Moon, in one year it covers all the signs of the Sun, etc.
It is first of all a question of recognizing the general planetary map, the celestial positions of the moment, identifying ourselves with them, and freeing ourselves from the identification with our own natal chart.
The natal chart shows where we are stuck and is precious because it represents the script of the conditionings of the separate identity, the portal to trascdend in order to access the chart in transit, the planetary chart, which we all share in this moment, which constitutes the alternative model of identification.
Once we are able to identify ourselves with the planetary chart, rather than with the personal natal chart, we can take a further step towards an even wider identity: the multidimensional one, which concerns the universe beyond time and space, the Center of all existence.
To encourage this process it would be helpful to be very careful whenever we define ourselves and others based on the natal chart, saying things like “he or she is like that because she or he has the Sun or the Moon or Saturn here or there, etc. “
When we say these things we are talking only about a script, a mask, a program, which is vital not to be confused with the individual, the soul. Perhaps it would be appropriate to clarify every time how things are or to leave these disquisitions out altogether. Alternatively, if we really want to define, we can instead refer to the collective planetary positions of a given moment, and in particular to the simpler ones of the Sun and the Moon, identifying with them, and then changing them each time according to the flow of time.
