When two or more individuals can deeply meet and see each other for who they truly are, fully opening their heart, even for a few minutes, it does not matter what has happened before or what will happen later, those few minutes can last for eternity.
The true purpose of any human relationship is to create the conditions for those moments to occur. This involves willingness, trust, patience and alertness for they often develop out of the blue and with no warning.
Most of all it requires the capacity to identify and treasure those moments when they do occur. They are sacred and tangible signs of God’s presence. No matter how you keep seeking God in prayers and meditations, as long as you are in this world, it is here that you need to find God.
God’s presence reveals itself in this world through all the loving experiences we have in our life, yet with this revelation comes the human responsibility to REMEMBER those experiences, regardless of what seems to happen later, challenging the often brutal misperception of their end.
All human relationships at the physical level are bound to end. This is inevitable. This condition was in the contract from the start. It is part of our responsibility to accept and honour it. And it is primarily our responsibility to implement the purpose of the contract, which is to generate experiences of love, defying the illusion that they only last for a short time, allowing them to be always accessible and firmly dwell in eternity.
