Sun in Gemini and Moon in Scorpio

3.8 xThe Sun is in Gemini and the Moon in Scorpio from 9:33 GMT on 30 May 2015 to 18:39, 1 June 2015.

With this combination it is vital to be careful in your communication with others.  Huge emotions and dark feelings may abruptly come up and cause upheaval in your conversations and discussions. Considering that Mercury is also retrogade, this is not the ideal scenario for meeting people with whom there is potential for conflict. Also it is possible to experience self-destructive thoughts and feelings. The suggestion is to be extra careful regarding what we express, finding ways to luminously release grievances and access healing sources.

This combination however provides mental agility mixed with forceful and emotional magnetism, which you can employ to explore your inner world and find out what is going beyond appearances. The capacity to acknowledge and accept our intimate needs and shadow side is also enhanced by this combination, including areas of darkness and misery in our life.

Gemini and Scorpio are in quincunx aspect, an angle of 150°, which is five-twelfths of the 360°. This aspect tends to cause slides into parallel universes affecting what happens in your everyday reality. The influence can be moderate, yet in some circumstances rather abrupt. Depending on the multidimensional conscious openness of the elements involved it can be experienced in harmonious or disharmonious ways.

“Disappointments in love, even betrayals and losses, serve the soul at the very moment they seem in life to be tragedies. The soul is partly in time and partly in eternity. We might remember the part that resides in eternity when we feel despair over the part that is in life.” (Thomas Moore, Sun in Gemini and Moon in Scorpio, Irish poet)

During this binary the Moon is still Gibbous Moon, though it is gradually approaching the Full Moon in Sagittarius. If the first days of the Gibbous Moon have provided harmony, ease and effective work, this is a time of anticipation for the upcoming challenges of the Full Moon. You may start to identify some areas drawing attention and requiring action. This could be either the best time to undertake action, with the desired outcome climaxing with the Full Moon, or to acquire the necessary resources so as to act on the Full Moon itself.
