8.6x8/6 – Scorpio/Virgo

Binary Number: 90
Degrees:  25-27½° Scorpio
Aspect: Sextile
Moon Phase: Waning Crescent
Handorian Reference: United Nations of Handor (UNH), Nation of Hatrevilians
Binary Spirit: Harassah Kahesepoh
Provisional Territorial Unit: AREA D8-1, GERMANY, Thüringen

In the Astroshamanic Binary System, Sun in Scorpio (8) and Moon in Virgo (6) constitute Binary 8.6, or Binary number 90.

8.6 is a blend of fixed water and mutable earth. Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) represent the power and reservoir zones of their own element. 8.6 consolidates and accumulates the elemental energy, which is then distributed by the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces), the advocates of mobility and integration.

8.6 merges Scorpio’s intensity, magnetism, passion with Virgo’s healing service, versatility, discrimination, precision and cautiousness. Resonance with this combination provides an awesome capacity for analysis, introspection, concentration, commitment and multi-dimensional investigation.

8.6 are champions in advanced scientific and shamanic healing fields, requiring dissecting eyes for details and penetrating research into the most arcane aspects of life. Their ordinary awareness embraces many elements that other people fail to notice and this may cause problems when interacting both with the social and family environment. 8.6 can be ideal psychopomps and are also masters of sexual energy and deep pent-up emotions for healing purposes.

Sun in Scorpio and Moon in Virgo are in a sextile (60°) aspect, which involves two complementary signs, sharing the same polarity, yet not the same element. The binary can work harmoniously and provide beneficial opportunities as long as there is awareness and clarity of intention.

Qualities: passion, intensity, magnetism, commitment, sense of duty, concentration, analysis, endurance, capacity to complete tasks, precision, service, healing, sacred sexuality, release masters, psychopomp.

Grievances: criticism, release misplacement, grahic invasions, work-addiction, restricted view, obsession for details, suicidal tendencies.

When the waning Moon is in Virgo at 60° from the Sun in Scorpio, the phase of Balsamic Moon, or Waning Crescent Moon, starts. It is a crucial receptive phase, a time of healing and rest, yet also of intense preparation and completion. Here you prepare for a new cycle, the next New Moon, and let go of the residues of the old. What is mainly needed in this phase is a work of release and forgiveness. It is easy at this stage to feel restless, excited or willing to change everything and start doing something totally new and unpredictable Yet, until you learn to release the grievances recycled from the past, you will never truly create anything new. The question here is: “What do I release? What do I take in the next cycle?”
“There’s light at the end of the tunnel. The problem is that tunnel is in the back of your mind. And if you don’t go to the back side of your mind you will never see the light at the end of the tunnel. And once you see it, then the task becomes to empower it in yourself and other people. Spread it as a reality. God did not retire to the seventh heaven, God is some kind of lost continent IN the human mind.” (Terence McKenna)
Astroshamanic Seal: This seal aims at acknowledging and releasing most profound grievances and pent-up emotions. It refers to the unveiling of hidden wounds, which are regularly denied or twisted since they are not compatible with consensus reality. The vision reads as follows: “The inner form of the mother wants to draw you with her into death as part of an original forlorn promise”. In the cave I see a huge female figure. I drink the potion and a bat appears. It flies and then it lands to take something from the earth, it eats some wheat seeds. Then it sits with other bats in a circle. They say that they are Graha. I let them go one by one. I feel a compelling and devastating urge to contact her. There is despair in being alone. Now it is the time to forgive and let go. Allow each one to live their experience.

Celebrities with 8.6:

Terence McKenna: (8.6.8) Most popular psychedelic author, techno shaman and skilled orator. McKenna devoted his life to the study of the ontological aspects of shamanism and the effects of food and drugs on human states of consciousness. Born on 16 November 1946, with Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Virgo and Ascendant in Scorpio (8.6.8).
One of his most intriguing theories regards the origin of the human mind and culture. McKenna argues that some of our primate ancestors left the branches and took up a hunter life out in the open following around herds of ungulates (hoofed mammals) and eating what they could along the way. Among the new ingredients of their diet were psilocybin-containing mushrooms growing in the dung of these herds.
One of the changes caused by the use of this drug  was synesthesia (the blurring of boundaries between the senses), which caused the development of spoken language: i.e. the ability to form pictures in another person’s mind through the use of vocal sounds.
McKenna wrote: “We wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for psychedelic drugs. In terms of the role of psilocybin in human evolution on the grasslands of Africa, people not on drugs were behind the curve. The fact is that, in terms of human evolution, people not on psychedelics are not fully human. They’ve fallen to a lower state, where they’re easily programmed, boundary defined, obsessed by sexual possessiveness which is transferred into fetishism and object obsession. We don’t want too many citizens asking where the power and the money really goes. Informed by psychedelics, people might stop saluting. ‘Take your political party, your job, whatever, and shove it.’
McKenna also believed that tryptamine-based organic hallucinogens, such as those found in ayahuasca and psilocybin, were tools for communication with other forms of life in the universe, either in what he called “hyperspace” or even literally on other planets. He was intrigued especially by the fact that hallucinogen users seemed to go to the same multi-dimensional places, realms inhabited by entities he referred to as “self-transforming machine elves”.
Among his numerous books, Food of the Gods is probably the most popular and also the one more closely associated with 8.6. The book is a detailed account of food and drug use throughout human history. McKenna was particularly against refined sugar for its addictive qualities and negative health effects, pointing out its devastating impact on human consciousness. He stressed that numerous wars were fought over sugar, with entire generations being condemned to slavery in the service of its cultivation, as opposed to the innocent mushroom which only ever wanted to make people happy.
McKenna affirmed that plant hallucinogens are threatening for current cultures because they undermine authority structures by democratically giving all users equal access to the big picture: “Because modern institutions depend on the transmission of a certain world view and then willing acquiescence in the truth of that world view by the populations into which it is being exported. In other words a kind of cultural brainwashing is necessary for modern cultures to work at all. The consequences of the acceptance of this situation of brainwashing is further acceleration toward catastrophe.”
Quotes:
“The problem is not to find the answer, it’s to face the answer”

“You have to take seriously the notion that understanding the universe is your responsibility, because the only understanding of the universe that will be useful to you is your own understanding.”
“The syntactical nature of reality, the real secret of magic, is that the world is made of words. And if you know the words that the world is made of, you can make of it whatever you wish.”

“You are an explorer, and you represent our species, and the greatest good you can do is to bring back a new idea, because our world is endangered by the absence of good ideas. Our world is in crisis because of the absence of consciousness.”

“Ego is a structure that is erected by a neurotic individual who is a member of a neurotic culture against the facts of the matter. And culture, which we put on like an overcoat, is the collectivized consensus about what sort of neurotic behaviours are acceptable.”

“You are a divine being. You matter, you count. You come from realms of unimaginable power and light, and you will return to those realms.”

“The purpose of life is to familiarize oneself with this after-death body so that the act of dying will not create confusion in the psyche.”

“If you don’t have a plan, you become part of somebody else’s plan.”

“My technique is don’t believe anything. If you believe in something, you are automatically precluded from believing its opposite.”

“The shaman is not merely a sick man, or a madman; he is a sick man who has healed himself.”

“There’s light at the end of the tunnel. The problem is that tunnel is in the back of your mind. And if you don’t go to the back side of your mind you will never see the light at the end of the tunnel. And once you see it, then the task becomes to empower it in yourself and other people. Spread it as a reality. God did not retire to the seventh heaven, God is some kind of lost continent IN the human mind.”
J. G. Ballard, (8.6) British author (15 November 1930-d. 2009) member of the New Wave movement in science fiction. His best-known books are Crash (1973), adapted into a film by David Cronenberg, and the semi-autobiographical Empire of the Sun (1984), made into a film by Steven Spielberg. The literary distinctiveness of his work has given rise to the adjective “Ballardian”, defined as “resembling or suggestive of the conditions described in J. G. Ballard’s novels and stories, especially dystopian modernity, bleak man-made landscapes and the psychological effects of technological, social or environmental developments

“I believe in the power of the imagination to remake the world, to release the truth within us, to hold back the night, to transcend death, to charm motorways, to ingratiate ourselves with birds, to enlist the confidences of madmen.”
“Civilised life, you know, is based on a huge number of illusions in which we all collaborate willingly. The trouble is we forget after a while that they are illusions and we are deeply shocked when reality is torn down around us.”
“In a completely sane world, madness is the only freedom!”
“I wanted to rub the human face in its own vomit, and force it to look in the mirror.”

Nation of Hatrevilians
8.6 is associated with Hatrevilians, one of the 12 nations of the State of Friaan. This nation – together with Trevor (3.5), in the Handorian State of Tudor (Sector 3) – is devoted to the glory of Trevilian, a most celebrated Handorian hero. He is above all known for having devised the Trevilian Stones, potent multidimensional healing carriers of Handorian information. Although these items may appear as stones, they incorporate all traditional 3rd-dimensional nature kingdoms (mineral, vegetal, animal) together with the 4th-dimensional realms. These stones are more than ever useful to support the formation and development of sacred relationships and connections. In particular, when applied to alien or mutant human characters, they seem to draw and integrate their original potential and intent.

Guidance:
IP-061196-8.6:
061196: I feel agitated and empty, I don’t know what to do and I can’t meditate. I go to a bar to eat something. I find only unhealthy food, which looks quite attractive. I begin to collect pastries and sandwiches, yet I feel uncomfortable because I am aware that such food can harm me. I look for healthy food, yet I don’t find any. Then I decide to lay aside all the food I have collected and release it. I realise that the emptiness I feel can be filled by something else. Three areas are outlined during this dream: belly, heart and head. It seems as if an outer energy can enter. It is the energy body, which separated from me. This is the cause of all hunger and desire.
“Your diet consists in being nourished by your energy body. Be aware that all the states of strong emotions, such as anger, hunger, sexual arousal, fear, anxiety, etc. are due to the separation from the energy body and the urge to fill this lack. These are grievances. If you feed them they increase. Be constantly aware of your energy body. Be aware of what happens when you lose the connection, because this can help you to keep it.”
I have considered the relationship with spirit animals. I felt the need of a confirmation, which was given by finding again the cassette about the Coyote dance. This was related with the journey to England.
“Be blessed for your adherence to the Work. This shows your willingness and availability and that you are ready to adhere no matter what the circumstances can be. This is required of you in any situation. What matters is your connection with us and this is your true formation. Find the spirit in all circumstances, especially in those out of control. At those times the Spirit is calling and you have the greatest chance to grow. You are always safe as long as you connect with us, as long as you connect with your energy body. This is going to fill your being, that’s the filling you have been looking for and substituted with misery and separation. Today you were shown the attitude to keep the connection and get united with your energy body which is the means thru which we can communicate. Be aligned with your energy body”.
Pahekarubhe 1: PR1 – 121198-8.6:
121198: This binary is reaching the highest peaks of pain, leading to the urge to end the terrestrial experience. Amongst the triggering events: the block to creative expression, the dissolution of a relationship, the agony of my mother, etc.
Pahekarubhe 1: PR1 – 131198-8.6:
131198: The inner form of the mother wants to draw you with her into death as part of the promise to always take you with her. In the cave I see a huge female figure. I drink the potion and a bat appears. It flies and then it lands to take something from the earth, it eats some wheat seeds. Then it sits with other bats in a circle. They say that they are Graha. Allow each one to live their experience.
