He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe. (Ephesians 4:10)
So as we have descended, we will ascend! The way up is the same as the way down. Hence we change the direction of travel, challenging the obsession of gravity. Filled with overwhelming passion, we revisit ancient routes, souls and events, loved and despised, ascending, everyone and everything, together.
Whatever causes attachment in this physical world serves the purpose to keep us stuck in this world. When we travel to other realms by dreaming, shamanic journeys, fantasies or with death, we are provisionally released from the physical world, yet unless we have truly healed our misperception of ordinary reality we are bound to return to it.
The Ascension is the Christian traditional teaching that the resurrected Jesus was taken up to Heaven with his body forty days after Easter. Gnostics and other non-orthodox sources believe that the ascension didn’t involve the physical body and occurred through a spiritual or multidimensional body. Shamanically the ascension is a radical shift into a higher state of consciousness, which allows a direct and stable access to what can be described as the Higher World, Heaven, Light, etc.
You will not go very far on the path of ascension unless you are willing to release the attachment to your human uniform.
